Nystan (nystatin) is an antifungal medication used to treat thrush, particularly oral thrush and skin candidiasis. It works locally rather than systemically — applied directly to the infected area as a liquid suspension, cream or pastilles. Nystatin is available on prescription and is commonly used for oral thrush in adults and children.
